The Bungalows of Torrance

Construction is moving upward at 22107–22133 S. Vermont Avenue, where Texas-based developer JPI is building The Bungalows of Torrance.

The six-story community is planned to include 525 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. Thirty-four homes will be reserved for households earning no more than 30% of the area median income.

Resident Amenities

Plans also feature a central parking structure and a broad collection of resident amenities, including:

• Courtyard and rooftop gathering spaces
• Pool deck and fitness center
• Pickleball courts and playgrounds
• Karaoke room

Location & Timeline

The first apartments are expected to welcome residents in 2027.

The development is located within the West Carson Transit-Oriented Development Specific Plan area and just south of Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, which is undergoing a major modernization project.
